As a New Testament assembly our desire is to see the gospel spread among our family and friends at home, at college or at work. We remember that the gospel in Acts ch1:8 went out from Jerusalem to Judea to Samaria and to the uttermost ends of the earth. It was good it reached our land and now we are responsible for the spread of the gospel throughout Ukraine. As an assembly we are active not only on the Lord's Day with a gospel meeting but also throughout the week visiting villages, schools, orphanages, old people's homes, hospitals, sanatoriums and prisons. Series of gospel meetings have been held in villages surrounding Lutsk and the Lord has blessed.
Since September 2008 to 2011 we displayed a new verse each month on both sides of a billboard in the centre of town. The billboard was situated right outside the main hotel and both pedestrians and road users saw the scripture text. A few years ago this would not have been allowed and so it is a great opportunity to be able to spread the Word of God. We felt that after nearly 3 years in the centre of town we should try somewhere else. We long to advertise near to where the new Gospel Hall is situated and so we would ask you to pray that a suitable billboard will become available.
Since 2002 we have had a Sunday school (September-June). Throughout the year the children sing choruses, learn by heart chapters of the Bible and listen to the Gospel preached by their Sunday School teacher. Numbers have increased and we have had to bring on another teacher. At present 3 brethren and 3 sisters are involved in this work. Sunday school is held every Sunday from 12.00 - 13.00. Pray that the Lord will richly bless this work.
Since July 2004 when we held our first summer conference in Lutsk many believers from different parts of the world eg Australia, Africa, Slovakia, Serbia, Moldova, England, Scotland, S. Ireland, N. Ireland, Canada and the USA have joined us along with Ukrainian believers to hear ministry from many different speakers. We have had the joy of having Jim Baker & Harold Hatt in 2004, Phil Coulson, John Hall, & John Prins in 2005, Jim Baker in 2006, Ian Jackson in 2007, Stephen Baker in 2008, Michael Wilkie in 2009, Ian Jackson in 2010 and Paul McClarty in 2011. Every year since 2004 we have had our brother James Colledge with us for the children's meetings which have been held in various locations. Each year the Lord has blessed us and the ministry given has been very profitable.

We have just had our 8th annual conference which ran for 8 days starting on July 8th and concluded on the 18th. Over 100 believers/unbelievers from Great Britain, Ireland, America and Ukraine gathered to hear the Word of God faithfully ministered by our brother Paul McClarty. During our 8 days we had 7 ministry meetings, 6 children’s meetings, 2 Gospel meetings, 5 open-air gospel meetings and 1 baptism as well as having distributed thousands of Gospel tracts. Brother Paul spoke on the book of James and the ministry was challenging and practical. James Colledge took the children’s meetings in the nearby village of Ozeraw and by the Friday we had 86 children and a number of adults attending. James was faithful in his teaching of the children and the gospel was preached clearly.
